They'll definitely get a big 10 invite. Unc will as well. Clemson Virginia and Miami will end up somewhere they just won't have a choice. They'll go wherever unc fsu and ND didn't choose. Vt duke and nc state are on very shaky ground. Everyone else is farked

Don’t think schools would vote them in especially after this season with how hard the schedules will be .

they will not be getting an invite to the B1G

Explain Nebraska then. They aren't good at anything nor are they an AAU school.

The SEC will two out of take FSU, Clemson, UNC, Louisville, GT, with a strong preference for FSU and the taters.

Their membership was on tenuous ground at best. It was already known that they were being kicked out of the AAU while they were flirting with the big 10-11. There was much chatter about it at the time.

And the Big 12 AAU schools like Missouri, Kansas and Texas voted to keep Nebraska in the AAU. Their new Big 10 partners voted them out.

They'll end up in the Big 10 - that's where they want to be anyways

I'm sure those boys in Tallahassee would love to play in the cold arse north in November. I'm sure their fans want to drive 15+ hours for conference games.

Sir, I have lived in Missouri and my extended family is from there. I was referring to culture as a whole ( food, religious practices, ethnicity, dialect, etc.) and not just Athletic culture. The southeastern part of the state is somewhat southern in its culture. The Northern parts of the state, not so much. Meanwhile, Oklahoma is somewhat more "Southern" in its culture. In fact it is now considered a Southern state by the US Census Bureau. Certainly it is not as quintessentially southern as AL,GA,MS,TN etc., but it is more Southern than Missouri. As you can see I didn't just make this up[

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

St. Louis is pure Midwest. But the center of the state is pure Dixie. The area is called Little Dixie. The high school football comference is called little Dixie.

Once you get 20 miles south of St. Louis, it’s like being in Mississippi, with sweet tea, y’all and pecan pie.

Oklahoma is much more western, than south.

The days of caring about academics ended a few years back. There's no prestige when it comes to this anymore. The conferences won't even pretend to care.

I would rather them in the SEC than the Big 10. Anything that keeps the Big 10 out of the south and the fertile recruiting grounds, the better. The SEC does not need them but we also do not need Big 10 in our back yard.

FSU could be AAU in as little as 2 years.

2 conference, NFL-lite CFB, here we come. The Playoff Committee did their job well.

More like the B1G was exposed with the CFA so they did realignment (the Penn State wave, then the "destroy the B12" wave, now the Global expansion / CFP and in the end it will still be a 2 team conference and a repeat of a century ago

Paying players
Super Conferences
Gambling
Player injuries

SIAA was the first Super Conference and eventually it broke into a series of smaller conferences with historical ties (SEC and ACC were the biggest spinoffs).

The more you think things change, the more they stay the same.
