- Half of the country is 0-0 and it’s almost November

- The national champion will win 2-4 fewer games.
(An 8-0 team will likely be in the CFP)

- No spring.

- Cancelled games.

- Players not available for games.

You might not like it, but it is an asterisk season.

I don't think games matter. They, are not heads and tail above their competition, but in a different universe.

2018 Alabama had the best offensive personnel, but the OC was mediocre when it counted.

They beat everyone in regular season by
3+ TDs. Including LSU and Auburn by 4+ TDs.

Tua. Best passer of the football in college football history.

4 NFL 1st rd WRs Juedy, Ruggs, Smith, Waddle.

3 NFL Rb. Josh Jacobs, Najee Harris Damien Harris

2rd TE in Irv Smith.

3 1st rd tackles Jonah Williams, Wills, and Leatherwood.

That offensive team rivaled Bama's 2016 defense as far as talent.

Neither of Bamas GOAT teams have gotten it done.

I just want to say I'm still melty that Jaylen Waddle isn't an Aggie.

This is all true. Burreaux definitely had more physical ability than Jones and was a threat to run the ball.

I believe Jones is more accurate and is currently having a better passing rating than Jeaux. But that doesn't mean I believe Mac is better, he's not mostly due to Jeaux ability to run the ball and throw on the run. Jeaux had some of the best passes I've seen while he was rolling out and scrambling (not Johny Manzell like - he basically threw up 50-50 balls and bailed him out with incredible catches)

I do believe that the Bama offense in totality is at min even with 19 Lsu. Bama Oline and RB and then WR is very close. I like Waddle the best out of them all for his sheer playmaking abilities.

In 2018 they said Bama was better than some NFL teams...then came 44-16.

But there’s just something wrong with SEC defenses this year. I guess it’s something to do with the lack of prep time but Arkansas and Kentucky seem to be the only teams with competent defenses.

Just played the #1 defense in college football.

Yep. Way too early to be crowning kings.

2019 MSU, Florida, and Auburn all had good to great defenses last year. Bama has played 1 great defense and 1 or 2 decent ones. At this point we are splitting hairs. If LSUs offense last year was A+++, then you bet your arse I’d be happy with Bama’s being A++

Well, they're arguably better at every position then 2019 LSU with the exception of QB, and Mac Jones performance have been almost indistinguishable from Burrow so far.

That being said, Burrow's legs distinguish him and made that team a little tougher to contain I think. Burrow also was so f'ing clutch in the biggest moments. Alabama was about to take control of that game last year when Burrow scrambled for several 1st down conversions that just stymied us. He had the best season I've ever seen.

That isn’t PFF

True. But this is

Mac Jones PFF Rating: 93.6

Joe Burrow Senior Season PFF Rating: 94.6

We may be witnessing the two GOATS in back to back years

I agree with this, the biggest difference being just how much better Alabama's offensive line is.

Saban will milk the clock at the end with a lead, and Saban loves to be basic when we put the backups in instead of running the same offense.

2019 LSU did a pretty solid job of not playing full games too.

Bama O has been dominant. I do wonder if the quality of defense is playing a factor, though. Doesn’t seem like most SEC teams have their best this year.

Let's see if Bama averages all those stats against seven of the top 10 teams...

Since you want to talk about base stats. Mac has a much higher passer rating, ypa, ypg, and completion % then Trask. Mac has also played much better defenses too.

Trask has one fewer INTs but has had more passes that could’ve been picked.
