Side note, they’re going to announce game time tomorrow at 8:00 am. Guessing they’ll try to squeeze it in.

Should just start Game 3 at that point.

I think both teams probably want to play it. I know LSU does. Not sure about UK but after our pitching today I would imagine y’all would like to take a stab at it

MedDawg it was a great crowd and environment. That stadium is a college baseball showplace. I really need to get down there for a game.

You can dislike my comments about officiating all you want

I would never advocate to intentionally attempt to hurt a player

Both games should have been played today. The weather forecast doesn’t have many holes in it to get a game in.

I mean, I don’t know any reason Kentucky wouldn’t want to play tomorrow. They lose the series and that’s what was expected on paper, so they don’t lose much there. Win the series? Huge bump for them in the back end of a tough schedule.

Yea actually since it’s in BR there really is no drawback. If it’s at home there’s the added RPI hit but on the road against #1 it’s basically house money

Feels like we're white knuckling it to the finish trying to hang on to the lead here.

Another week...another time that LSU won't sweep. Somehow they cling to that #1 spot despite really not being fantastic.

Also showing that that aside from Skenes their pitching is suspect.

This is the whole logic behind Carolina wanting to play game 3 vs LSU. We had nothing to lose. LSU had something to lose

Not everyone gets to play shitty Missouri

Why couldn’t you sweep miss State?

Carolina would have more to lose losing to LSU at home than LSU would have losing to Carolina away based on RPI, but I mean I think both teams wanted to play it

Jeebus what a bloodbath. Our bullpen sucks donkeys.

I didn't get to watch any of the games dammit.

Actually it's probably a good thing that I didn't watch our game.

Final South Carolina 14 Vanderbilt 6
Final Missouri 1 Texas A&M 13
Final Ole Miss 3 Mississippi St 2
Final Georgia 13 Florida 11
Final Auburn 8 Alabama 4
Final Kentucky 13 LSU 10
Final Tennessee 2 Arkansas 5

Nothing against the hitters, but some crappy arse pitching occurred in several of these games.

absolutely both teams did. None of these games hurt anyones RPI and its all positioning for a top 8 at this point. The only reason the teams don't want to play in the rain is injury and that is completely fair. LSU had a guy go down (for random reasons) next thing any team needs is a torn ACL.

The tarp conspiracy to knock out your ace is just one of those fan theories. Could it have legs...I guess technically, but it has less legs when a team is up 3-1 with their own first round pick.

Seems like there was a lot of crappy arse fielding around the league too. At minimum there was by us

I don’t necessarily believe that SC chose to suspend a game they could have kept playing. If there’s lightning there’s lightning

But I think you’re kidding yourself if you think they weren’t happy about it. 3 innings is barely anything and outside of the 2 HRs Skenes had 8 strikeouts and looked very good. That ace matchup was far from decided

Fair...not everyone gets to play mizzou..They were coming off a sweep of UT and got hit with the injury bug pretty hard in the span of 2 weeks. They arent a bad ball club.

State has great hitters. The injury bug got their pitchers pretty hard. Its not crazy to think that they could turn their season around if their young pitching comes around. They played well and beat us.

Since then we split with LSU and that third game could have gone either way. I think both teams should have felt confident that they would have won. We also beat #13 UNC 5-0 and took game 1 vs Vandy at their place in a game that wasnt close. Are we the best team in the country? maybe not, but we are showing we belong. All the good teams in the country have some bad losses. UF got one tonight

It’s a slug fest at the top for sure. SC has a great team and for what it’s worth I think y’all were easily the best team we’ve played this year
