Do you want to claim the strike 2 call to Thompson was borderline?

It was both down and away… and unlike the call in the 9th inning which Rantz thought was a strike, both announcers said it was clearly a ball

That's not the real reason why the third game was never played.
There was an LSU fan that called in a bomb threat into the SEC offices. He threatened to kill every SEC ump and intended to start with the crew in Columbia last week. He stated that all SEC umps intentionally made calls against LSU and never made bad calls against their opponents.
He also stated he would do everything in his power to bring the corruption to light and would even shite post on game threads on tRant.
Maybe we can all work together to figure out who this poster is.

It was an absolutely awful call. It was both low and away. And it hurt LSU—a lot. And the umpiring this year, all over the SEC has been atrocious. But LSU can look at the three errors they committed (which doesn’t even include the “triple” Jobert gave up), the ridiculous number of walks they gave up and the four double plays they hit into if they want to find some reasons why they lost.

But like, where did I say that umpiring was what lost us the game? I didn’t. And I talked about our errors and poor pitching that led us to this point. So I don’t see why you would think I’m saying we lost the game because of those calls.
They hurt and they were bad enough I believed something needed to be said, but I never said they lost us the game at all

You can believe what you want but I’m not upvoting my posts. I do sometimes out of excitement in big moments in games but I’m not right now

Side note, they’re going to announce game time tomorrow at 8:00 am. Guessing they’ll try to squeeze it in.
