Lsu been lacking a good pass-rush for a few seasons now
so the kid from Georgia will probably get some pt. Mack truck is more than likely a day one starter. Darron Payne looks like a beast. What other freshman y'all think will get early pt?

Arden Key

Oh, yeah...and the player named Trevonte Valentine, whom allegedly enrolled at LSU.

Bielema has said that it will probably be impossible to keep DT Hjalte Froholdt off the field this year. He's an early enrollee that has apparently been killing it in practice already.

The only one would be Daron Payne. The kid will have to be behind a Jarren Reed though.

Tough one. Our DL is STACKED out of the arse right now with talent and returning experience. Reed, Robinsno, Allen, Pettway, Hand, and Tomlinson will see a lot of the PT. Jon Taylor coming in our of JUCO should see some time at Nose.

I'm not sure a Freshman sees a lot of significant playing time on that DL. Should be the best of the Saban era/in the country, so I guess that's a good thing, though I hope we try and find a way to get some of the non redshirting young guys some experience in any blowouts.

Best way for a Freshman DL at Bama to see early playing time is to lose 80 pounds and play cornerback.

Do NOT count on true frosh DL to help much and if they do....figure halfway through season at best.

SEC DL need the weight room and practice field against sr OL to gain playing time. But every team nowadays rotate a lot of DL to keep fresh legs...the rotation increases for true frosh as season goes on if they aren't redshirted and if they are really talented its rare now to r/s unless injured.

Look for r/s frosh or true soph to help. Im hoping the kid from up north Holley will be ready to go for us as r/s frosh...he was highly rated but had injury.

Deshawn Washington was a highly regarded interior DLmen that redshirted year one. He won't start, but he might get meaningful playing time.
