Like I said, we’ll see which one proves to be the better strategy. Most locker rooms aren’t going to respond well to some rando transfer who hasn’t done anything at this level coming in on a big payday. Maybe it will work for Auburn.
And from LSU’s perspective you paid the going rate to get the out of state four star here in the first place, can’t really justify paying him more than double that just to keep him on the roster when all he’s done is look good in practice but barely contributed.

Look at our portal guys now. Louisiana kids who really wanted to go to LSU in the first place and the rest are guys who who have produced or are coming in as depth with no NIL money.
