McFadden is a freak of nature. Are you kidding with this shite? He had to play QB for his team because their passing attack was so bad. They had 9 in the box EVERY play and he still did what he did.

while gurley and marshall have been great, dont think they are greater than dmac and felix
the arkansas qb situation was so damn bad they just said the hell with it and started lining up mcfadden at qb and thus we had the wildcat phase
bottom line is gurley n marshall wont be playing defenses with 9 in the box like jones and mcfadden did their whole career either

Didn't they play on the team that beat LSU in November 2007? They also didn't play on a team with a QB that threw for 3000+ yards either. If Gurley and Marshall were 90% of our offense I'm sure they'd have higher numbers than they will next year.

No they didn't have a QB who threw for 3,000 to keep the defense guessing. Instead we had a retard for a QB so everyone knew were going to run it and they still put up those numbers.

McFadden is a freak. Just a simple eye test of them playing in the SEC can tell you that McFadden is one of the best I've ever seen. He had to play QB against 9/10 man box when they knew he would run.
Gurley is really good. So was Felix Jones. McFadden is the best SEC RB in a long, long time IMO.

There are really good players and there are freaks of nature. McFadden is a freak of nature.

The night I witnessed RunDMC hit Carolina for 320+ and Felix hi them for almost 190 yds, is probably the best two combined RB performances I've seen in my lifetime.
