Hell, this might be a blessing for him.

You better believe it is. He can now get started in finishing that Ph.D in Analytical Physics. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

He tried to run over people rather than around them.

1200+ yd season as opposed to 800+ yd season... yeah, I'd say one was better than the other.

Didn't he get the rushing title last season?

Yes, and he was the co-leader for rushing touchdowns, a Pro Bowler, and a second team All-Pro.

But he was only good in the last couple of games.

Can't believe the Jags would cut a 3 time Heisman trophy winner

Guice, now Fournette.

NFL organizations need to think twice about taking LSU running backs.

Bc he isn’t skilled enough to run around them. Elite HS player, very good college player, average NFL player.

And no, not one suck arse on this board would attempt to tackle this dude!

These are always the dumbest comebacks. Yeah, no shite most of us here wouldn't attempt to tackle that big son of bitch. I'm also not going to attempt to build a Ford Pinto, but I can objectively tell you it's a piece of shite.

He will be fine. There's a decent amount of teams that need a RB and he did good while being on a god awful team. Hopefully he can make a comeback

Gurley has outperformed Fournette ever year except last year, when Gurley played the entire season hurt.

Fournette Career Stats
4.6 yards per touch
101.1 scrimmage yards per game
0.53 TDs per game

Gurley Career Stats
5.1 yards per touch
105.6 scrimmage yards per game
0.96 TDs per game

It’s not even close buddy.

Easy too see that he was going to bust in the NFL when he could not run against the Gumps.

That's a great metric
