This is total bullshite. Haynesworth has always been very nice. The problem with his organic burger restaurant was the shite location he put it in. The Cumberland Strip is a fricking disaster. The rent for restaurants there is about 5x too much and it looks like Mogadishu for the last five years with all the construction going on. Hundreds of restaurants have failed on the Strip the last two decades yet they keep getting suckered into trying to make it work. Knoxville residents avoid the Strip like it is the plague so the businesses there have to rely 100% on the students and when school is out they all suffer tremendously. His burger joint would of done fine in any other location in Knoxville just about. Didn't help him that there's another burger place on the strip called Cookout that sells a shite ton of food for only $5 and stays open till 5am. Cookout is owned by some hardcore bible thumpers who apparently give zero shits about profit margin and just want to low-key pedal to all the college sinners. They give out bible verse pamphlets with the shitty $5 meals.

He's always been nice when I've met him and was friendly on campus. Not saying he doesn't have issues - we all know he does but I can see how he'd leave different impressions on different people.
It's like he's got two personalities. One is the nicest the guy you'd ever want to meet but the other is a complete dick. He's got his demons for sure.
