Here's hoping that coach Bob goes to Nebraska or Auburn

Kinda like A&M? No McCoy the Ags take the cake for basic.

Our only hope is that he is waiting to open things up in league play

Rumor is we may see some pre-snap motion this weekend.

Having a ‘basic’ offense happens when the qb is scared to throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field.

That pick 6 in Indy clearly scarred Bryce, and the offense is suffering because of it.

And you would chime in on someone no one knows.

He's just regurgitating what many Bama fans are saying now. In his day, he had McElroy at QB. Definitely little creativity then .... just hand it off to TR or Mark Ingram and screen dumps to Julio and the RB's. Less creativity then. Not sure what he's getting at really. BoB does suck but he's not making a good case really.

Thanks. This isn’t 2007 or 2009. Why does this matter now?

Did any of this not work though? I’m thinking it did.

I agree with that.

You can tear up most anyone with slant routs. Beat them to death with it until they figure it out. Dump the ball. It’s quick and effective. It’s almost impossible to cover a slant across the middle. Can be done if you have a receiver that knows what they are doing. Use a TE or a HB/FB to mix it up along with receivers. Get the big chunk of yards on 1st or 2nd. Leave a short 3rd. I want at least 8 yards with combining 1st and 2nd. A lot of games are lost on 3rd downs having to go to the 4th down and punting.

Actually McElwain had a lot of pre snap motion. It wasn't really a spread offense but it wasn't vanilla. Lots of play action and power.

McCoy trained one of Bama's freshman receivers so he is paying close attention to the offense. Like everyone else who is watching it, he's disappointed.

Is your issue with who he is or what he said?

Nothing against he said.

I may be against his character at this point.

He's right. They are really starting to miss Kiffin and Sark.
