Eh, that isn't true. No doubt he likes to get people going but I have seen him take on bets and own up to when he said something stupid, as anyone who posts enough on here. He generally doesn't take himself too seriously which is something you should consider when responding to him.

Kinda misleading statement. Frost grew up in Nebraska, played at Nebraska, and won a national championship there. He has family there as well. Strong personal ties to that state.

So have I. Which is why he won't take this bet cause he knows he is wrong. I can respect that.

Because if I don't know who they are then I am positive that they won't out perform Franks.

Well, if you are purely using the team around him as support than I guess I can understand that. That being said, it just depends on what stats you want to look at when comparing Hicks/Starkel vs Franks. They both have different advantages in certain categories. Hicks numbers in the year Chad was at SMU are probably the most impressive out of all of them. Of course that came against lower competition.

I'm not sure how someone can say that 1 of 5 possible QBs will have better stats than a solidified QB on a national contender that had better numbers last year than anyone Arky had on roster.

Well it really just depends on how quickly Starkel gets the job. It is him or Hicks. Yes his numbers will be hurt if he isn't named the starter from week 1 but most expect it to be his full time job in the first couple of weeks.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen fans downgrade their ex-coach and discredit their favorite teams accomplishments more than state fans.
It’s kind of strange. Wanting to be relevant, but then saying when they were ranked #1 they didn’t actually beat anyone good.
Weird weird sentiment from the cowbells.

I'll take on a sig bet or something like that for a few weeks but not doing a ban bet for something like this.

It would also have to be using Passing efficiency rating or a combination of that with some other stats.

this guy's something else...definitely an axe to grind. He's gone after Texas' Tom Herman and Michigan's Jim Harbaugh in the past.

Now, Dan Mullen at Florida.

Does he make some valid points?
I believe Smith is drunk 16 hours a day on average.

Mullen gets insulted unfairly quite frequently. He made MSU a consistient winner, and I don't know if that had been done before in their history, sans Sherrill. He can evaluate the hell out of QB's and can run a consistient, great offense. I think he'll do well at UF, without having to recruit all the miscreants that Urban signed.

He reminds me of an offensive version of Tuberville. He never really wows you with recruiting successes - Tubs was always between #12-#16 most years - but puts good/great teams on the field.

That's the only argument that I stated. You can now see how asinine his comments were.

How are my comments asinine? You come in here defending Frank's and try to ban bet me.

You said

quote:

Lol Arkansas' QB will have better numbers than Frank's this year.

The fact that you can't even name the QB who will apparently outperform Franks shows how stupid this comment is. Especially given the fact that Franks outperformed all 5 Arkansas QB's last year.

Sorry idk who is starting Hicks, or Starkel. You're the idiot who compared Storey - who isn't even on the team. Your posts are garbage itt.

Seems like people want to insult Mullen because he didn’t make State a top program. State is a stepping stone job for coaches that want to be at elite programs. Mullen’s problem is not his resume. He won 8+ games in 5 of his 9 seasons at State . Mullen’s resume is much better the the last 2 head coaches that UF hired.

Why are people still giving Smith publicity? Mullen is 1000 times the coach Smith will ever be. What a weird, odd wife beating POS

As I previously stated, I gave you the benefit of the doubt by picking your most productive QB from last year and now he is even gone. The fact still remains that you somehow think one of those QBs will have better stats than Franks which is a horrid take. You can deflect on my Storey mistake, but the point still remains.
