Why are the gumps so sensitive on this topic? You guys can't admit he's prone to injury?

Doesn't make him a bad player but when you're an NFL GM, you look at how you want to risk your $$.

I personally think both are true. The concerns about him being injury prone are legitimate, but he's also a potential franchise player given the right supporting cast.

There's certainly some NFL gamesmanship going on with these evaluations, and I'm glad I'm not the one making the multi-million dollar decision.

I hope it works out for him though.

Agreed

If he gets the right line infront of him and doesn't try to do so much on every play, he could have a nice career.

He had one of the most talented teams on the field week in and week out at Alabama.

I think that Tua is going to make a really good system qb. He doesn’t seem like one of those guys that can carry a team, he just doesn’t have the mental or physical toughness to do it. He is really smart tho and can run an offense, and has a lot of intangibles. I’m hoping for his sake he doesn’t get drafted by a team that expecting him to carry the team.

He is tough, he just exposes himself to injury too much. He takes too many risks.

Not sure why you would think that he isn't mentally tough?

Hence my qualifier He tried to do too much and it essentially cost him his health

Hard to say.

I sincerely hope he gets drafted high and does well in the NFL. He seems like a good kid.

I never understand posting this gif as an insult. Mettenberger's line was shite and he stood in there like a man, he was the toughest player in that game

LSU fans unable to decide if Tua is fragile or a faker.

How very Auburn of them.

All you have to do is listen to his Dan Patrick interview. The kid is a fantastic QB but his dad did a number on his psyche. I’m really interested to see how he does in those crazy NFL interviews where they’re picking on your personality instead of just relying on your football knowledge.

It is fair to say he is brittle. He lit it up with the best WRs and Oline in college. This will not be the case in NFL. Hard pass.

He needs to pray that he doesn't go to Miami. His career will be done before it ever begins there. He needs to fail every physical he takes to make sure he falls to a better organization.

Drew Lock got lucky! Denver would have been a good place for him but he stayed in college for another year. I think that killed his chance to go to the right team to have that success.
