Why was Marlon Humphrey wearing Ole Miss gear to meet the press?

“This is for my guy Lane Kiffin,” Humphrey said. “I wanted him to be the Bama coach. I told him he should come to Bama."

Deboer > Kiffin.....Kiffin not very mature. Deboer is much more proven.

That's fine. Former players say otherwise...

Are almost always esteemed intellectuals. Ole Miss has signed kids that can’t read in my lifetime.

Being quirky and outspoken is kind of Marlon’s schtick. That doesn’t overrule, you know, mathematical data

Bama fans have turned on him on Twitter ever since he said he would’ve hit the portal as soon as Saban retired.

Humphrey & McElroy are enemies of the fanbase now.

This continued obsession with Bama is astounding.

Pls delete this lol. DeBoer is no joke but Lane is quite literally one whole year younger and has like 10+ years of high level football experience over DeBoer

I respect Greg. I would hate having his job having to walk the line of being a former player that is pretty much the target of the rest of college football. Marlon on the other hand can EABOD. Frick him.

I believe those were hard fought recruiting battles as well. If a kid can be a difference maker, little else matters.

MSU signed a kid who beat up a female on video, if they wouldn't have a dozen others would have.

Just one of the many examples.

Age doesn't have much to do with maturity.

Yeah it does imo...there is a strong correlation between age and maturity. There's plenty of reasons employers ask for experience.

Doing something, messing up, reflecting and doing better the next shot takes time to occur. People take time to process things. And some things in life you have to DO, you can't just read your way to success.

Lane has alot more experience than deBoer at this level of football and in this neck of the woods. I'm not sure why you think he's immature compared to deBoer or if it's even making a material difference at this point

Kiffin is the most immature football coach in the SEC. Kiffin was leaving Bama and Saban had to fire him a few days before the national title game. He is constantly trying to get attention from trolling on the internet. He still throws tantrums and makes stupid calls in games due to emotions. Without listing every occasion, his dick has got him him in a lot of trouble over the years. He is very inconsistent in his coaching.....Maybe at his next coaching stop he will have matured some by then. Deboer has already had more success than Kiffin. He is busy recruiting instead of worrying about internet trolling.

Turns out Kiffin can do both at once. He's been on the trail quite a bit the past week or two.
