Quite honestly I don't think he will be a negative at UF. But I'm not sure what he has to offer UF, especially since he should be riding off into the sunset with a huge pension.

His hiring of Bruce Pearl and Butch Thompson were home runs. He did, however, ruin our absolute dynasty in men's and women's swimming.
I can support this. He pissed me off a few times and am I sorry he is out? No but I am not going to take a crap on him either.

Overall, a solid hire. I actually think it's the perfect role for him and Florida gains a ton of experience at that position few schools have.

Jacobs:
-second job ever outside of auburn
- ran off a swim coach that won something like 13 or 14 straight NCs in men's and women's
- hired Jeff Lebo who wasn't a great bball coach and replaced him with Tony's barbee who was a terrible basketball coach and one of the worse human beings to ever step foot on that campus
- fired Tom slater to hire John pawlowski to fire him and hire Sonny Golloway, who was such a bad person that Oklahoma was trying to push him out after he made the World Series.
- has the negotiating prowess of a 3 year old. If a coach wins a game and raises an eyebrow he gets an extension
- oversaw an athletic dept with more underqualified and overtitled people that had no role or no role that was needed, but were there under good ole boy rules. Our AD fired 6 of these this week, and they won't be the last
- was the AD when our softball and women's basketball programs went into some disgusting off field and court stuff, and probably helped cover things up and definitely didn't fire some guilty parties

Other than that, he did a good job for us and will probably be fine for you Florida
