Trolls aside, Jay is fine, and he'll make a damn good AAD. He's a good moral guy and he's made some really good decisions as well as some decisions he missed on, just like every other human being on the planet. His hiring of Bruce Pearl and Butch Thompson were home runs. The basketball arena is top notch and our teams are competitive throughout the league for the most part...and we're in great shape financially. He did, however, ruin our absolute dynasty in men's and women's swimming.

Hell, I didn't know I was supposed to even pay attention to Associate AD's. Jay is the first one at UF that I've even known who he or she was.
How long do you give us before we shut our AD down?

Side note:
I used to play basketball at the YMCA with your very own Rowdy Gaines. REally nice guy. Can't shoot the rock very well but he'd run you to death.

You would think your athletic department was in the shape of Tennessee with the way some of these guys are talking. He seems like a guy that just couldn’t handle everything, he’s joining a well oiled machine and I’m sure he will be fine.

That’s disheartening, I would hope we keep selling tickets the way we always have, Jacobs shouldn’t be making any of these decisions. If he does it’s on Stricklin.
