It won’t matter what the dispute is about when it’s a Bama fan that gets arrested. They’ll be up in arms about it.
“Took issue with the guy” who just happens to be a Bama fan. We don’t know what “issue” they took with him but it had ‘nothing’ wink wink, to do with him being someone who roots for a team they hate and have seethed over for the last 8 years.

This has to be made to look like just an isolated incident that has nothing to do with LSU fans two weeks of seething hatred toward anything Bama related.
Otherwise all the public outcry about Bama and the SEC cheating LSU out of a fair game until every LSU fan was frothing at the mouth would look bad on their delusional display threatening violence to any and all Alabama fans.
Gotta bury the true reason and say it had nothing to do with this Bama fan and the "tiger bait" confrontation that LSU is so emotional about.

Tree killer was at the game taking pics with his fans.

This has nothing to do with the LSU athletic program nor does any idiot Bama fan that commits a crime due to a football game have anything to do with Alabama athletics. This isn’t just about sports or team allegiance. This country in particular its citizens have an issue with prioritizing sports at a higher level than what it needs to be. There was a time when this was just a game. You won you lost you moved on. Fans were disappointed but not angry. Our affinity for team sports has replaced empathy for our fellow man. You can see the anger and hatred just on this message board because people have the curtain of anonymity.
