OK sweetie. You're right. Texas A&M is the best coaching job in the country. No one would ever leave there. Now, do you feel better?

Sumlin is gone. We are replacing him with Briles. Doesn't matter the HC is. SEC is not what it used to be.

"It's certainly a talented group to be a part of and is the strongest conference in the country," Briles said. "You lose two teams in Texas A&M and Missouri who never won a Big 12 Championship and gain a pair of teams in TCU and West Virginia who have won BCS games in the last two years. It's exciting."

Seems like Art doesn't think much of Aggy.

Coaches have left Bama, Florida, LSU, USC, etc etc etc

No place is "un-leave-able"

I wonder how many bad things KK said about A&M before we paid him as our OC?

Briles would do fine, and if you really think he would refuse a dramatic pay increase and upgrade in football program you are crazy.

That said, I don't think Briles would be anywhere near our ceiling if we needed a new HC, but I can see it happening.

Sumlin is just biding his time until CNS retires and he can "hear Momma calling him home". You do know that he was born in Brewton, AL?
