How would your fan base reconcile a Lane hire? I know at least 1 UT fan who would stop supporting Tennessee if they rehired Lane.

So it turns out that the UT AD knew no one wanted the job. He offered the best coach he could get a yes from. Clay Travis and the Twitter mob fricked it up. Now you will be stuck with a shite coach. Cause any good coach isnt going where the AD is about to be canned.

Les would be perfect for y'all right now. Dude can't straight recruit and will bring stability back. Look at his résumé. I don't get why the ad has not reached out.

I have to agree with this. Stability is needed and he would deliver that if nothing else.
The only thing I can figure is that he's let it be known that he does not really want a job anywhere.
