Upsets do happen, but when a team’s backups can beat Missouri’s starters is it really an upset?

The SEC, schools, and bowls work together to fill the group of 6 after the NY6 & Citrus pick. Maybe your admin didn’t mind the location.

SEC does what they can for each team within limits. A&M has as large of a gripe, but you don't hear our fans talking about it. If we had beaten AU and MSU, we'd be in a better Bowl as well.

Like I said. The location isn’t bad. The opponent just sucks.

Trust me, there was plenty of pissed off attitudes to go around. If Odom shits the bed again in a bowl game (against another XII, no less) the small amount of goodwill he generated down ther stretch will evaporate.
He seems to be building a good program, but enduring his growing pains as an HC has been tough.

You thought wrong. There’s no formal criteria.
I don’t think it’s a big deal, personally. We’re likely to have a far better turnout in Memphis than Charlotte. And there’s no huge gap in reputation among the bowls.
We just need to focus on winning.
