Alabama would be much closer to the top if they didn’t lose Saban, obviously.

Great point...Ole Miss is the home of 2nd chances for kids who left from places that weren't a good fit.

Not surprising if that’s accurate. Kirby has made it clear that he doesn’t think the transfer portal is the way to build for long-term success.

"I don't want to have to go to the portal, I don't think it's a great avenue to success, to be honest with you. I don't think you can sustain that way, you have to build from it within."

-Kirby Smart on building a program with the transfer portal

I think it’s too early to determine if he’s right.

This is definitely the present-day Alabama mantra

Kirby is a great coach, thecaw loves his attitude and demeanor but I also love chaos so this isn’t a selling point, would rather see the portal teams win, conference re alignment - Florida to the ACC!

Huh?

I think the team lost 38 players and new coaches typically bring some starters with them too.

DeBoer will have those percentages much closer to Georgia’s shortly.

Please amend your list. We're being referred to as 'America's Team' currently. A bunch of straight A, hard-nosed, chip on their shoulder kids that were rejected by other schools and came to Oxford to do something special together.

Just don’t frick it up by losing to OM. Do that & every billionaire booster in CFB is going to tell their HC to shove it when they’re asking for a couple mil to sign a HS kid & to go bargain shopping in the portal instead.

Kirby has been buying top recruiting classes for years so why would he need the portal as much when his bagmen were already buying 5 stars?

This basically makes him the anti-Kiffin.

You can see how normally the bottom feeders ( Indiana and Ole Miss) have finally come into some success.

Ole Miss is literally at the bottom of the list.

Please take your victimhood elsewhere, it's not selling here.

That doesn't make any sense unless you lack the ability to develop players, which would have nothing to do with the school, only the coaching.

Indiana 65.4%

OM 66.3%

I understand you folks aren't really good with math and all but damned man, don't have such a hard on for Kiffin.

Besides, how the hell else are they gonna get kids to come play for them.

Go back and look as many years as you would like at where OM has finished in recruiting. It's obvious the best don't want to play for them.

Hugh Freeze pulled in a top5 class at Ole Miss exactly 10 years ago.
