I’ll never understand why LSU continues to schedule these hard out of conference games in week one while most of the league schedules cupcakes.

Most of these games are scheduled years in advance. The honorable thing is to play them out, and schedule smarter in the future, due to the additional conference game, but some programs have shamelessly canceled these types of games.

Honestly, I am not going in with too many expectations. I wanna see how it plays out for the 1st 4 games or so. The run game is supposedly ahead of the pass game even though there have been very positive reports from practice on Leavitt. Still, a lot of new pieces to go along with a new staff. It's a very difficult schedule as well. Gonna take some for some of this to gel. Now, if I'm an opposing fan that has LSU on the schedule and we come out firing on all cylinders, I would be a bit nervous.

Correct, a loss to Clemson by LSU is a sure path to the playoff's for LSU. You people are great.

Weird post from a fan of a team that lost by two TDs to a 5-7 ACC team to open the season, and still made the playoffs.

It feels like it’s huge. Not really because the game itself is a must win, but because I frankly don’t think Clemson is very good, so if we lose that means we aren’t very good.

But that was Alabama though. LSU doesn't have the cache and prestige to pull that off.

Neither team is very good. It's going to be a slap fight between two lightweights.

Clemson finished their season last year with 4 wins and 1 loss. LSU wrapped up their season with 3 losses and 2 wins with 2 L's in a row to end it.

LSU has went through upheaval with a controversial firing and then a new coach who is a prima donna that has purposely created a bunch of drama within the team and program.

Right now, and most all the time actually, Kiffin has better things to do than to waste a bunch of time that he could be using to slide into girl's DM's on Instagram or get in a sesh of hot yoga.

He also spends a huge part of his day posting images of girl coffee.

Frankly, I think he is a little bit retarded. He is constatnly posting retarded shite like this, with crazy squiggly line highlights. He's 50 fricking years old and acts like he is just discovering how to be a responsible man. That's retarded.

Kiffin's X Account

With a person like this leading LSU, I pick Clemson in their game 9 out of 10 times.

Only the worst of the worst use "recovery" to garner attention. He posts about his "journey" all the time. It's overdone and he has the mind of a teenager.

It could have just been his privileged status growing up that has made him into a sniveling idiot as a man or it could have been the drugs and alcohol that retarded his mental growth.

Check out the type of drivel this moron is posting. He hasn't even coached a game at LSU yet. He is as delusional as the fanbase.

It's going to be so enjoyable to watch this ongoing car crash.

I'm looking at the long-term ramifications of what is being built for sustainability. That's more important than a few losses in season one.

Good Lord, can Bama fans take LSU out of their mouth for one damn second? Let me turn it around on you. How important is a week one win for you? It’s pretty important isn’t it? I mean what kind of stupid fricking question is this?

It’s important because the schedule is tough and dropping a game you are double digit favorites in will be a pretty big blow to playoff hopes.

I think I just want to talk football and help steer everyone away from the drama. That's all.

Why is it I am more excited about LSU football than the pre-teen LSU fans on this board?

It's pretty damn important. At home, at night, and we have the SEC gauntlet. Can't start 0-1 this year.

I think Clemson is pretty average, but they'll be up for this game big time and we'll have a whole new cast of characters on offense and a new system. We will have some growing pains on offense.

Kiffin in his last 2 openers at FAU & ole miss were loses, hope that trend continues and w/ mounting pressure this BS he's started with 5th year players. Hoping for BK part 2 with the deer in headlights with that lose to fsu!!
