And thus is the problem. Nobody sane wants to come to the table except for Nick Saban. Also the media helps fuel this shite with gotcha stories and stirs the pot every chance they can get for views.
If LSU had played the players in question then yeah punish them (fines, take away the win, etc…) but don’t fricking say “let’s kick them out of the conference.” Especially when there are other schools with questionable eligibility players who actually fricking played this weekend. It’s all court rulings at this point until they make a federal law to fix this shite.

Well said. This is all complete bullshite, unless the league has some other evidence of frickery. We shouldn't cheer other conference members getting railroaded.

George, all this because Sankey chose to testify and got his arse ripped open and is mad about the cold gumbo comment. (Which I am on record here saying is an incredibly stupid thing to say.) Tony took it easy on him, I would have been in his face, turned my back to him, scoffed at him, etc, (I have deposed billionaires, abs CEOs I know how to get under entitled pricks skin.1000s of other Louisiana lawyers would have been 100 times worse) What Alabama lawyer oked this? The REC should make sure he is fired tomorrow.

The SEC will become an absolute dictatorship. Individual schools will have no say and will be too afraid to speak up.
Really bad call, especially if it's a Western Michigan-Michigan type call, and you complain. You're expelled from the conference.
Complain about a scheduling situation in the SEC, you're expelled from the conference.
If the SEC gets it's way, there are going to be some SEC schools regretting giving the commissioner such unchecked unilateral power.
