It sounds like he got COVID and rapidly got very sick over the last 24 hours (or less), developing pneumonia and requiring a ventilator. Unfortunately he passed less than an hour ago.

Damn. Man that hurts my heart. shite

Just saw his twitter with the away game ticket stubs and all. Pretty cool the way he was honored on Senior night.

He wasn’t. Until he suddenly was. Just brutal. Unreal for somebody with their entire life ahead of them. Can’t imagine what his parents and family are going through.

I’m glad he got to experience this moment. He loved Bama and we loved him back

RIP

A question though: can covid really kill you in less than 48 hours? I was under the impression that those who get it bad in their lungs survive on a vent for many days before finally succumbing

Not unheard of at all for folks to get admitted to hospital and be dead the next day.

When it goes downhill, it can go downhill in a hurry.

Likely sick for several days before finally deciding to go to the hospital.

Damn... I am sorry to hear that man. COVID is pretty harmless.... until it ain't. Then it whoops your arse. I had it. Thought it was gonna be nothing. Boy was I wrong.

Found his twitter, so sad, he tweeted just yesterday. To me it's the worst when someone dies tragically at a young age.
