Its so funny. Nobody cares about Native Americans and they've been crapped on more.

Teams literally name mascots after them.

What a fricking boring world we are going to live in.

Everyone is going to act exactly the same. Exactly

"Alligator Bait" and "Gator Bait" are clearly two different chants, with two different meanings.

It's as different as Heil Hitler is to Hail to the Chief.

WTF?

I keep waiting for LSU to pull some bs stunt like this. I've drawn a line in the sand...they do anything like this and I'm done.

It has already been proven that if you try to ban something at LSU, the fans (especially the students) will make it 10 times worse by repeating the banned phrase loudly and in unison whenever there feel like it.

Because of this one decision? The guy is an awesome president otherwise, been doing incredible things here.

Wish UF fans were like this. I'm finding out a lot of us are absolute fricking pussies.

I'm not sure I consider myself a fan anymore TBH. At least until Fuchs is gone.

When they came for Ole Miss, I said nothing. When they came for the Gator Bait cheer, there was no one left.

Seriously, this is why cancel culture, liberalism, and democrats in general should never be given an inch. You've got millennials and Zoomers that want to be the next MLK or Rosa Parks, nothing wrong with that in a sense, just they've had no problems in life, and line them up with crazy left wing professors and this is what happens. YEah, its Ole Miss one day with their flag, then it goes to statues, now a coach at OSU cant wear a TV news shirt, and then today with this. Slippery slope indeed.

No. Many things. This was the last straw. Caving into the mob of stupidity is my "frick this" point.

Later, Gators.

Like what? The guy is one of the most loved school presidents we've had in a long time, I'm genuinely curious what other things you find such issue with.

Is the ‘chomp’ outlawed, or just the cheer? Are people seriously gonna ban the arm movement?

Y'all all need to sneak in "Fuch OFF!" signs that say "GATOR BAIT!" on the other side of the poster for the 1st game.

He may be, but his jorts must be too damn tight and they are cutting off circulation causing him to talk nonsense at the moment. That is a completely innocent cheer. He's creating an issue where there is none. I think we have enough real issues right now to deal with.

After seeing this topic on other boards, I came here specifically to hear from Gator fans.

Truthfully, I don’t like you guys or hearing that song played .... but I hate to see y’all have to deal with bullshite like this. What a joke. What a shame.

Sorry Gators , smh

I plan on continuing to taunt the Florida Gators by doing the Gator Chomp to the tune of "It Sucks To Be a Florida Gator, " whenever LSU beats them, racism be damned.
