It’s not a huge deal but it does come with some benefits. Less travel, better crowd support. And there is a matchup advantage. I’m guessing Duke is either 2 or 3 seed so you avoid their side of the bracket.

I would have to agree, and they’re playing their best ball right now. 11-1 coming down the stretch since their win at the barn. 7 ranked wins. Same time frame

Exactly. Florida is no doubt the hottest team in the country right now. Auburn was the hottest team in 2019 after winning the SEC tournament. It did squat to help our seeding tho because we had bad losses during the regular season.

Auburn should be #1 overall,.16 Q1 wins > 11 and they won the SEC. I hate that Duke is gonna get their usual homecooking though.

Shouldn’t have lost to Georgia and Kentucky on the road if you wanted to make it a conversation. Florida has zero chance at being the #1 overall seed.

Aint gonna lie...they could seed Florida anywhere and it wouldnt matter. They look like UConn at their most dominant last year
