Put in perspective. Historically the college football season was limited to 11 or few games.

Preseason rankings don't matter. The time to talk shite is after the games have been played.

It was actually 10 games until the 70s, then 11 until the mid 00s, which is why the "10 win season" threshold is kind of dumb to use when combining multiple eras. I've always thought a better metric to cite is how many losses teams have had in a season, although still not great to use when comparing across eras. Also worth mentioning is the SEC didn't even have a uniform number of conference games teams had to play each year until 1974 when it was set at 6, then 7 in 1987, and 8 after the 1992 expansion. So for the majority of the history of college football, the non-uniform nature of schedules make it dumb to compare teams in that regard until at least 1992

A better way to troll Florida would be to point out that their first SEC title wasn't until 1991 outside the title they later were forced to vacate in 1984

There are NFL players that weren't born the last time TN was relevant in football.

Whose alter is this? You are clearly an Alabama or Texas A&M fan. Your obsession with LSU defies all logic, and you are clearly not a TN fan. The majority of your posts are centered around LSU. TN/LSU are nowhere close to main rivals. Pretty sad you have to use this alter and hide behind the logo of another school.

Because your delicate fanbase is so easily triggered and omnipresent on this website, obviously; it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

That doesn't go far enough.

Madison Cawthorne is a sitting US Representative who was a toddler the last time Tennessee was relevant in football.

Since Florida first won ten games in a single season in 1991:
- the Gators are 21-9 against the Dawgs
- the Gators have won 8 SEC championships and the Dawgs have won just 3
- the Gators have played in Atlanta 13 times and the Dawgs have played in Atlanta just 8 times
- the Gators have won 3 national championships and the Dawgs . . . well you already know
- the Gators have had two Heisman Trophy winners and the Dawgs . . . well you already know
- the Gators have finished in the AP top ten 16 times and the Dawgs have 12 AP top ten finishes

This is quintessential "living in the past" while your team has been dominated by their biggest rival for three decades.

Hush, mutt.

Coach made a statement "if Florida were ever to get their act together then the rest of us are in big trouble"

close to that anyway.

What? 4-6 the last 10 years is "dominating" your rival?

So it's not okay to go back 30 years but okay to go back 10 years?

Sounds about right.
