Yep!!! Gonna get pretty ugly in DV! I'm sure the crowd will let who ever the QB is for FL know that this stadium is much different then the rest. Neither have played in a wild atmosphere like DV. Even though it's a day game I'll be there and I know others that have said they will make sure it's just as hype as a night ga

Why can't LSU fans enjoy a little success without becoming total douches who act like their team is the greatest in college football? Bama fans at least have 4 of the last 7 titles and a 20 game win streak to back up their bravado. LSU fans have victories over Missouri, Southern Miss and Ole Miss as proof they are back and ready to contend for a title.

Excellent rebuttal and nice use of a common debate tactic-just call the other person stupid and fail to say anything else.

No AD is going to outright state what was discussed in negotiations. The furthest Foley has ever gone in terms of talking about another AD is to refer to LSU's lack of cooperation in negotiations. Sankey pretty much omitted LSU in his statement of the Nov 19 rescheduling. LSU fans have postulated on all the offers LSU offered during negotiations without any direct quotes as well, and all have been taken and believed uncritically. But no one cares about that.

Second-Why the hell is UF still pussies for going to LSU and playing LF7 at full strength?

LSU did not duck the game on Saturday, Sunday or Monday of that week. LSU was prepared to play the game anywhere at any time, but the yellow streaked AD and Coach of the university of florida (with a banged up dline) wouldn't have it.

Did any other team from the Florida campus play that weekend?

The SEC should have made you forfeit. I'm glad they got it together. I like the LSU/Florida game every year.

Alleva was fine with not playing the game at all once the original date passed.

He just put your AD and that idiot in Birmingham on notice that LSU wasn't going to put up with their Bull Shite anymore.

So choosing to play in a tougher condition (away against a rested LF7) is a pussy move? Our players are still banged up anyway.

I would get calling UF pussies for not playing the game at all this year and forfeiting but whatever floats your boat.

Because Foley has no credibility. And has either Foley or Sankey denied LSU's claims?

LOL just last week people were saying LF7 was done at LSU.

UF painted itself into a corner, they thought they would be SECCG eligible playing 1 fewer game.
Sounds as if the adults took over for Sankey.

You guys have hated Alleva for almost his entire tenure and he's had a track record of poor decisions but yet you accept his statements at face value. Foley hasn't had any public missteps in his tenure and he's well respected amongst ADs.

Both UF and the SEC have put neutered statements to the public because publicly blasting LSU's AD by calling him a liar makes the situation more childish than it is.

And I've said this before and this situation just brings it to the forefront but:

If LSU fans gave as much a shite about their school as they do the football team...

It doesn't make him a liar. The way Foley and Sankey handled the situation from the beginning shows how inept and unprofessional they were.

Funny, "childish" is just the way I would have described the statements by both Foley and Sankey.

All bullshite aside...I think your AD got caught taking a foolish position based on what he thought might get Florida out of a tough injury/scheduling spot and his pride would not let him back away from it. It didn't help that the other Florida schools either played or postponed the game that weekend.

Couple that with an LSU AD that just finally got to flex his muscles firing Les Miles and it was a recipe for what we all witnessed that couple of frustrating weeks. It happens all too often while conducting big business.

I like that LSU-Florida is back on the schedule and I hope there are no residual issues going forward.
