The whole story that lawyer spun is a bunch of nonsense filled with lies. We damn sure never offered that kid even half of what that idiot claimed and he went to Miami because they offered the most but the figure is more Likely in the 5 million area

It is so easy to hurt other teams now by either starting rumors that player A or player B is getting X amount on another team. What do you think our starting QB is thinking right now with his NIL deal when he hears we offered a kid in high school over 10 million?

Any of our rivals could step in and tell Anthony Richardson they will pay him X just to sit out and it would totally frick our season. He could transfer, blame UF and sit out and either play next season or enter the draft on potential. And he has tremendous potential.

That crooked lawyer is probably targeting Richardson right now.

Seriously imagining how easy it is to frick with players on a rival team is crazy now with the portal and NIL. And these players seem to have very little loyalty to any schools, for the most part. Not all, but I would say the majority.

And I am not picking on them. Many grew up super poor and have all this money being flashed at them. It is a tough position for them.

Im looking forward to the first big NIL deal that transfers after one year so he can get another signing bonus at a new school.

Yep and they will probably utter that famous Latrell Sprewell quote about having to feed his family.

NIL is a joke. Paying a 17 year old kid 10M to live in Miami is going to be a complete disaster lol.

Agree completely.

Plus the market right now is not settled and these numbers are crazy. I hope I still love college football when it has finished evolving into whatever it is going to become.

That Finebaum interview is ridiculous.

So, we're to believe according to this filthy lawyer. That UF's collective offered Rashada 11 million, but they're completely inept?
And Finebaum takes the word of this "agent" as gospel?

Florida HV Napier just dropped four players from his roster to get close to the 85 scholarship limit. One more to go. Why did he wait until these guys couldn't enter the transfer portal to cut them?

Rumors are they were showing up late to meetings, no effort in conditioning.

UF has a culture problem, as everyone could see last season. Napier is trying fix that.

I can't recall so I'll bring it up to ask... Did Ewers get the payout from his NIL deal with Ohio State before transferring to Texas and getting another there? Without ever having played a down for Ohio State?

I would think so since by rule NIL deals cannot be tied to a school. If the money is not given to the player he could just say he didn't get paid and and NIL was tied to the school.

This NIL thing is a complete disaster for amateurs.

Schools cheated before NIL and the will cheat after. Just call them semipro and be done with the student athlete charade.

Didn't Florida collect a show/cause for recruiting violations right before NIL came on the scene?
