But it still doesn't make up for the mutts 40 years of irrelevance in football and they are still irrelevant in most other sports. But if enjoying UF failures means that much to you, enjoy. Every mutt has its day, it won't last forever.

The thing that baffles me about Florida is that it is the flagship university of that massive, talent rich state and it managed to land just two of the top 25 247 Composite 2023 recruits from its own state. Miami, FSU, and Georgia in particular are cleaning up on the talent down there. Georgia has eight commits from that same top 25.

"enjoying UF's failures..." You obviously don't appreciate the magnitude of the rivalry between UF and UGA as many (including myself) do. The only thing in cfb that is better than a UGA win is a UF loss. We've had plenty of both for a long time now, so all is good.
Oh, and uh, let me ask you, and answer me truthfully. After we mopped the floor with UF again at our annual prison-raping of the Gators last season, when the clock clicked down to zero, was it really any consolation to you that UGA had gone 40 years between NCs?

UGA doesn't need to apologize in general for efforts in other sports.
Under Vince Dooley as AD alone, UGA teams won 78 SEC championships and 23 national championships, including an unprecedented four national titles in the 1998-99 academic year.

People like what they like and I don’t like baseball. It’s soooo boring. Too much time spent talking on the mound, too much spitting and scratching and it’s slow as molasses.
I hope Georgia fields a good baseball team. If they are gonna compete then they should be good. I just don’t plan on being there to watch

174 Team SEC in 16 sports.
We doing ok
And Florida sucks, but they are the best all around athletic dept in the league historically and that’s not really debatable.
