Mac sure had me fooled year 1. I thought homie would do good things in Gainsville...

Is it the location of Florida that just produces very stupid decisions. Hiring McElwain was stupid, but, firing a guy who has had 2 winning seasons in two years is just as stupid. Why not wait until the end of the season, it's not like having Randy Shannon filling in is going to create anything better.
But, they will save money because they might be able to find cause.

It might look like the smart choice, but I'm not sure it's the best choice. I've never been as sold on Mullen as a lot of other people have.

Good luck to UF with finding a new coach. I cannot imagine a more ungrateful fan base. I get that the season is not going the way that fans want it to go but McElwain has won the East two years in a row. No one will want to coach at UF. I hope Mullen is not tempted.
