I agree with much of what the OP offers as reasons to stay put.
KKG sucks at UF. Lane's daughter will stay at Ole Miss for this reason alone.
Moving his son is no biggie. He'd likely attend PK Young.

Would you rather your son be QB of PK Yonge, in class 2A Florida small football, that is currently 0-8....
Or would you rather your son be QB of Oxford High School, which is 6-1 and plays 7A Mississippi big boy cornbread fed football(Mississippi's highest classification) against the most talented teams in MS?

There are better high schools in Florida for his son.
I'm sure KKG is on UF's campus.
It's a block ready for Lane and his family to move on.
His ex-wife has a lot of eligible bachelors to choose from in Gainesville.

Even if he stays at Ole Miss its going to erode NIL funds there with giving him a big raise so now that your schedule will be like most SEC teams starting next season you can forget about championships.

What if he goes to Penn State? I think he’d win huge there. They’d pay him. Easier path to the playoffs, for sure. Everyone talking about UF, maybe he goes to Penn State. I think he stays at Ole Miss but Lane at Penn State would be fun.
