You ain’t wrong. CFB is vastly changed… getting in the Playoff is the 2023 version of making a bowl game in the 70s. Lot of fan bases will be stoked to get shellacked in the first round of a playoff instead of winning a bowl game in an empty stadium that is anything but meaningful
