This is a game I’ve seen almost no one talking about. I’m most curious (besides Auburn Kentucky) for this game. Could Kiffin pull an upset week 1?

He could but I think it's unlikely. I was more scared of them right after LSU on the original schedule than the opening game.

UF has the same system and staff so missing practices hurts us much less than Ole Miss missing practices. Add in we were already the better team, which means an upset would be Ole Miss playing their best game. Hard to play your best game in week 1 with a new staff I'd think.

UF does have some Covid cases right now though so see how those play out. Luckily we got camp finished already so this week was just conditioning and game prep.

I think it will be a close one...We don’t win I think, but may feel good about our team afterwards.

If this Ole Miss team beats Florida, when Daniel has had all offseason to prepare then Daniel won’t be at Florida very much longer. That’s all I have to say about that.

I guess I like Ole Miss’s chances more than most here. Kiffin sure can put together an offensive attack

Ole Miss has no business beating this Florida team.

I know Mullen doesn’t comment on player injuries and that carries over into Covid cases, what are y’all hearing?

Ole miss beat writers have mentioned Florida having some numbers creeping up, that is in the window now and the close contact rules can really screw you. Is it a specific position group?

Rumor is a few starters on defense could be out due to contact tracing.

Mullen doesn't typically reveal depth charts till game day, so we won't know.

Offense, so far, appears to have everyone available.

As said above only rumors. This contract tracing is going to be a massive issue this season. Defensive depth is a lot better than offensive depth, so hoping the defense rumors are true. We've recruited that side well.

Yeah I read ole miss sports websites and they post about different things including opponents in upcoming games. It’s really hilarious.

Honestly I’ve been talking about this game for months I live here in Florida and I graduated from ole miss and I don’t know what to expect from this game, I don’t know what to expect from this coach, I don’t know what to expect from Florida. I know that Florida is supposedly absolutely loaded at every position especially quarterback and wide receivers and I’m sure the defense will be good like most years.

As much as I hate Mullin I know that he can develop quarterbacks so I’m interested to see how our depleted defense holds up against their offense.

I expect us to score points with the tight ends that we have as well as the receivers and I think that we will lean heavily on our run game which is probably still the strength of our team even in Lane Kiffin offense.

I think that this sets up to be a trap game for Florida but I don’t know if it will be enough for Ole Miss to win. We are very thin on defensive ends and the defensive line as a whole and our secondary is unproven linebacker is actually our strength this year.

I think that the score could be 14 to 21 in the half and then I don’t know if our defense will be able to hold up as the second half commences.

I’m predicting something like 28 to 45 Florida but I would love to see us pull the upset.

Not with that roster. It would take a miracle.

Mullen feasts on bad defenses, and Ole Miss has the 2nd worst defense Mullen will see all year (Vandy).

Florida will score 40+

How is it a trap game? It's the opening game.

The original schedule it was a trap game. Now it's an opener. All focus will be on Ole Miss.
