Dayummmm come on baws!! Sounds like yall need to upgrade your entertainment district!
Restaurants there are plenty, but bars yes we all agree. A few years back the city counsel pretty much tried to kill the nightlife downtown. Bunch of morons.

Well I mean, he could go to Acre, the hound, the depot, Hamilton's, Amsterdam. Just didn't sound much like what he was asking for

As a Georgia fan, I enjoy Auburn. It definitely doesn't have the volume of bars that Athens does but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. Sky Bar is one of the best bars in any college town.

If you've a sweet tooth, visit the Mason Jar for one of their extreme milkshakes.

Yea Auburn's biggest problem is it doesn't have a lot of just smaller dive bars. We have a couple really really big bars. Losing Bodega/Bank Vault was a travesty.

I enjoyed Bank Vault and whatever that bar above it was (not sure if it's still there or not, they may have been the same bar for all I remember). Just good to get away from the Sky Bar crowds sometimes.

Yea it was all the same bar. It was always our go to spot to start the night, partially because we new all the bartenders and got basically pure liquor drinks but that's besides the point

Nah, let's just give the best restaurant/bar space in town to a make your own pizza chain that makes no use of a gigantic patio area

Since it's your first trip I would definitely get some Toomer's Lemonade and go see the spectacle that is Tiger Walk 2 hours before kickoff. It is something to see and will be big since we're playing LSU. For food I would go with Momma Goldbergs and get the Momma's Love sandwich. They limit the options on gameday to keep the line moving.

Gimme back Bodega and Ole Auburn Ale House. Nothing like being an upper class man, burnt out with the BlueRoom/SkyBar and going to Ole Auburn Ale House and drinking a few with the professors

I've seen corndogs randomly on the sidewalk. That should be enough.

Just trying to make money on the lease until they finally get to take it down, along with several of the other buildings and parking lot to build newer bigger building with more lease/retail space. Same guy owns most of the properties right there

Highly doubt they are taking that building down. Have to get the vault out, which I doubt they do.
The owner basically tripled their rent but didn't do it to his other tenants in other buildings. From what I've been told, Pieology isn't paying what they were trying to charge the bank vault either. It was a dick move.

Not only do they make no use of it, the shrunk it.
Now, there were plans to build a new building there that was where Quixotes was going to move. That was supposed to happen last year I thought though. So no idea what happens now.

When traveling through campus recommend you keep car windows up. Otherwise an administrator is liable to throw a diploma into your car and then you'd be an Auburn graduate.

Its funny when bama fans make diploma jokes, it's the closest they get to them...

Since when do LSU fans come without food and beer?

It is a cow college. Very small. Maybe go to Chappy's and try to sit in David Housel's booth?
