Thanks for reminding me that Vandy scored 38 on LSU. LSU is screwed when they play a real team.

So, he's a graduate transfer with only one year to play.

He's guaranteed to keep his full scholarship this year at Vanderbilt, but will have to pay his own way next year if he plays this year.

By opting out, he has created himself a two-year scholarship for grad school at one of the best schools in the country.

The virtue signaling is just a bonus. Smart kid.

Would just like to point out that in the last 10 years, Vandy and Ole Miss are even (5-5). If you remove the two vacated Ole Miss wins, Vandy is actually 5-3 against y’all.

And Ole Miss only leads the series 51-40-2...

Looked at that way, it really IS a smart move.

Unless he has a howitzer for a leg, he's not going to the NFL (look at LSU's transfer kicker in 2018, got lots of awards and no serious interest because he isn't a 55+ yd range).
