Hoping we can stay in the middle of the league. It will be interesting to see how we gel as the season goes on with all the transfers.

I was shocked that Bucky was able to come in with a week before the portal closed and 1 returning player that was at the end of the bench and they actually look like a real basketball team. I thought it would be all offense but they are actually very aggressive on defense as well, they just are going for steals and running all the time. It was interesting that Bucky doesn't like mid range shots, he wants everything in the paint or from 3 and he wants lots of passing and they make FT's.

Couldn't have come up with a more inverse style of Buzz. No way this team is a contender but they will be fun to watch. Just ton of energy and offense and Bucky seems to be really embracing A&M culturally. They are easy to root for.

Most talented team we've had in a long time.

That doesn't necessarily mean we will go far, but if they can play unselfish I like our chances.

literally forgot McMahon was still there. You guys think he’s on the hot seat this year?

He's been on the hot seat. Since we are throwing money around, get rid of him too.

Really difficult to get excited about Mizzou basketball. Better last year but lost in the first round…again.

I saw were picked to finish 7th in the conference. Not sure what that looks like in terms of record.

Good but we have to remember that one of the things we were good at was being tough and out hustling other teams. We might have read a few too many of our own press clippings and Arizona was better than folks thought.

Aubie will be fine Billy. They didn’t get tested as much as they got woke up.

Since no one from UGA responded, I'll bear this burden:

I have no idea.

Acuff but we have a few players who can effectively be PGs.

Also, I need to correct my previous post. I thought the win against Memphis was a decent preseason win.

Nooooo... they stink on ice. UAPB put the weenie to them.

Doesn't sound like the conference will be sending anyone to the tournament this year...lol.

I predict a wild, wooly and crazy season as teams find themselves and by the SECT, some good ones will rise to the top. I hope one of them is us.

Ole Miss should be sneaky good this year with the defensive prowess. Arkansas looks the best out the gate but OU, A&M, Vanderbilt, and Georgia all looked good as well. FLA and TX lost, but they are also the only teams that played anyone.

Last year we won the pre conference season. Then conf play happened and we had to hang on just to get a slot.

So for me I’m still going to keep up with PC but won’t decide anything until we get at least 3-4 games into conf play. Then I’ll have an idea.

Doesn’t mean I won’t hoot and holler if we do great vs big pre conference teams though.

Returned our bigs, replaced our guards, took a step back but still hung with a really talented team.

We'll be good. Won't repeat, but hopefully build for this and next year.

I think the Gators are a Final Four contender again. We just need them to get some games under their belt to get the chemistry.
