Since 2007, with the exception of a few years, LSU has been competitive with them into the 4th quarter, winning 3 and losing at the very end 4 other times. No other SEC teams can say that except maybe Auburn, Ole Miss and A&M.

When it comes to Auburn, the Tide has won four of the last five meetings and eight of the past 11. Add to that, the loss to Auburn in 2017 didn’t hinder the Tide’s chances of advancing to the College Football Playoff.
B-B-But Auburn has beaten Alabama more than anybody else!

I don't listen to him, so I have no expectations.
He's talking about football because it's a tv/radio show and he's trying to appeal to the most viewers. The majority of people don't like baseball, and that applies to fans of all schools.

The Bama mascot has spoken.

You gotta be trying your hand at sarcasm!

I'm sorry, but what is a Georgia fan doing in this thread?

"The majority of folks don't like baseball". Packed ballparks in Oxford, Hawgsville, Baton Rouge, Starkvegas, Nashville, a decent crowd in Athens are the facts, not your bama opinion. Finebaum does not cover SEC baseball because bama sucks. Fact, not opinion.

I think he meant everyone's left bama in the dust. Their baseball team is shite and an embarrassment to the SEC
Baseball can't be an embarrassment because it doesn't matter enough to be so.

You would think so if you're team was in Alabama's shoes.

In 2007 Bama lost to UGA/LSU/MSU/AU since Saban's 1st yr
You can call it an extreme exaggeration if you want, but Bama has a 83-13 SEC regular season record in 12 yrs. Damn impressive considering 3 more SEC teams won NC's in that same time frame.

Finebaum, honestly, is one of the most cerebral and intellectually interesting sports commentators of our day.
He is a national treasure.
