2016 Alabama was Saban's best or 2nd best team that I've seen. They just didn't win a chip because Deshaun Watson is insane.

2017 Alabama was much closer to 2012 Alabama. Maybe better but not by much.

The next two Alabama teams are going to be as good as 2016 was without a guy like Watson standing in between them.

It's very possible Alabama wins three straight titles here.

I never have said it wasn’t a good team. Not once. I said that it was the worst team we have had since 2010 by Alabama standards. Also, you are trying to argue about what is on paper. That doesn’t mean a thing when the game starts. You are speaking in conjecture. I am speaking in what actually happened on the field. Two totally different things. I mean on paper our 2000 team was suooosed to be a top 3 team nationally. Didn’t happen.

Bama has won 5 national titles in the last 9 years. Georgia hasn’t won a national title since 1980. So is it really shocking that Bama gets more respect and more benefit of the doubt than Georgia?

Do you understand what conjecture is?

Do you know what confirmation bias is?

You also tried to put words in my mouth that I didn’t say. I never said the 2017 team was ‘not good’. I said it was our worst team since 2010. We know the results not because of the names and stars on a piece of paper but because of the scoreboard.

Do you understand what I just explained?

UGA loses to LSU, so UGA won't make it anyhow

Unless we win the SEC with that one loss.

Pretty much sums it up. Georgia has very little to none championship pedigree. What happened in 2017 wasn’t the norm for them it was an outlier. Don’t tell them that though.

He isn't smart enough to even know what this means. He might be at the computer right now trying to keep one side of his mouth closed. We know for sure he isn't looking any relevant facts up to prove his point.

Hurts was a liability. We won in spite of him.

bullshite. You won games despite the OL. The LSU and MSU games come to mind. The OLs weakness came out against good Ds (LSU, AU), during the regular season.

Based on QB who played 95% of the season and the injuries this was clearly the worst Alabama team since 2010
2010 was arguably one of the best teams of the saban era. Injuries and complacency hurt that team. 2013 was prob the worst saban team. DBs across the board were def the worst.

Stats say otherwise. If we had a bad Oline we wouldn’t have been able to run the ball. We put over 200 yards rushing on Auburn. We would not be able to do that with a bad Oline.

We won with Defense and a safety first conservative Offense under Hurts.

When Tua got his chance all that changed. We were able to throw the ball down the field with the exact same Oline in the game.

It is like you are begging Saban to keep playing Hurts with what you are trying to tell me.

Won’t happen. Tua is going to give us multiple dimensions and take all the pressure off our running game. I understand why you are worried and scared because this isn’t something Saban has had at Alabama.

Hurts stared down receivers, held on to the ball too long, would look for primary and tuck and run. Wasn’t on the oline it was on jalen scared to throw the ball.

No our qb weakness showed against elite defenses. Plenty of wide open targets missed or not even thrown too from jalen.

Stats also prove 2017 was not the worst Bama team from 2011-2017.

Hurts was the leading rusher with 85 yards. With 67 yards coming on one drive and 4 plays (none by Hurts). You are fooling yourself if you didn't think the OL was an issue.

It's irrelevant. When's the last time Bama played a good OOC schedule or a good East team? Hell, last year Bama played a weak OOC and weak East schedule, lost to the only good team they played, and didn't even win their division and still made the playoff. If uga wins they will make the playoffs.

I think overall they were. Their D had weakness that were only exposed by good Offenses and the Offense was Hunts running. Throw in the fact that Bama's schedule was the easiest over that 6 year period and you have inflated stats.

So basically like Bama’s OOC schedule every year.

Exactly! Bama had no business even being in the playoff.
