We're not the best road team by any means, but I believe we stay in it and have a shot with 5 minutes to play

Biggest problem with playing at Utah is the altitude and players getting winded. For instance, that 2009 loss was in a season where LSU went 27-8, 13-3 in the SEC and won the SEC outright. We were really good that year. Utah was also a good team, but 30 points better? It's not surprising they've won their last 5 home games against SEC schools. We had similar issues when we played in Salt Lake City in the 2000 NCAAT. We were a 4 seed and barely snuck by SEMO by 3 in the first round. It's just a tough place to play for teams not used to that. The Jazz have always mostly had similar advantages. Their home/away splits are generally very slanted. Several years ago they went 30-11 at home and 13-28 on the road.

My 10 year old grand-nephew's Park-league consolation 3rd place game is at the same time. We will probably have more spectators who GAS than the game in Montana, or Idaho, or where-ever...

I'm surprised you are allowed to be within 500 feet of a children's event.

I doubt we win, we have not been able to win on the road this year and we are extremely banged up

Last week's theatrics probably don't help matters either.

Gonna be very tough to pull out a win tonight

Why would a game between UTAH and LSU be played in Montana or Idaho?

Hell, I remember the first half of the season wondering why we seemed to be a better team on the road than at home

We had wins over A&M, Arkansas, Memphis, and Michigan on the road (if you count neutral road games) first half of the season and had lost to Stephen F Austin and UGA at home

I’m looking forward to the game tonight. It’s a long shot but I’d love to see Kentucky vs Texas A&M in the final four and State vs LSU in the final four at the Gardens.
