What’s yours?
Mine is single game passing record.
Set by KJ Costello of Mississippi State.
He threw for 623 yards in a 44-34 beatdown of LSU in death valley
LSU’s first game after winning the national championship the year prior.
KJ Costello would end up getting benched for the remainder of the year merely two games later.

I wouldn’t have guessed he held this record if you gave me 1000 tries.

How much yardage did he have before the stadium started leaving in the third quarter?

I knew it immediately, unfortunately.

To be fair it was 2020, the stadium didn’t show up at all

Funny you should ask in the 3rd week of Oct:
60-40-7 vs those pumpkin puke orange clad Vols of UTk.

IIRC, they had cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands. I’m sure the event staff was instructed to pull them out after halftime to preserve tradition.

Bert Johnson punting 30 times in a single game. He had 2nd most punts by an individual in that game.

Oh yeah, forgot about that dude. To his credit though, he made a few NFL practice squads.

Wow! So you're telling me a QB that barely started the majority of the 2020 games lit up the LSU defense??? Weird I wonder if the picture has been painted.

Don't remember COVID? Stadium was empty except for a handful of fans and cardboard cutouts. The game was a tight game late into the 4th quarter and would set the stage for LSU being awful defensively. The fact KJ was benched two games later should speak volumes.

We thought we were going to be awesome that year. Then I think LSU got beat by Troy and we got beat by Arkansas. ?????

I always liked Corey Smith's "Every Dawg".....

It was an all SEC schedule that year. Believe MSU lost Arky the next week.
Was crazy cause ESPN and Gameday spent all week hyping MSU only for them to be Arky's first SEC win in like 2 1/2 years

2020 was the COVID All-SEC schedule year. LSU lost to Troy in 2017...
