1. Sully
2. Corbin
3. Mainieri
4. DVH

I also think Vitello is going to be very good, whether or not he stays at UT is to be seen, but I think he's a fantastic young coach.

Butch Thompson has slowly built a pretty solid club at Auburn.

Bianco is consistent but still can't get out of his own way when the game start to matter.

Lemonis at State hasn't been there long enough to really rank him high, but he's certainly on a great path so far

2. Tim Corbin great coach who’s won a national championship but has underachieved at times when he’s had great teams

Corbin has been at Vandy for 16 seasons and has won the SEC in 5 of them. Prior to his tenure, in the history of the program, Vanderbilt had won it twice. He's taken them to 4 CWSs, and 7 Super Regionals. Vanderbilt had only played in Regionals 3 times before he got there, and had never made the Supers.

Corbin took a program that was the dredges of the SEC (finished either last, or next to last in the conference each of the 5 years prior to Corbin's arrival...and hadn't finished better than 8th in the conference in the 10 years prior...and the conference only had 12 teams back then).

He created a program out of nothing...

As an SEC head baseball coach, MSU's Chris Lemonis is averaging 51 wins a season. So far, could be more.

No not really, though I'm sure some idiots did.

I remember thinking Bill Battle fvcked us again with a mid-major dude who recruits nothing but JuCo guys. And even then I couldn't imagine that massive arse fvckin he was going end up giving us.

EDIT : Now that I re-read it, it seems like you are talking about Bohannan and not Goff. Bohannan is good and I like him a lot.

1. Tim Corbin
2. Sully
3. Mainieri

Mainieri is better than Van Horn because he has accomplished more than Van Horn. Van Horn is honestly just now coaching at the best he’s ever coached. He’s always had talent but has choked a lot in the big moments and games.

1. Sully
2. Corbin
3. Mainieri
4. DVH
This is the correct answer. DVH can not be above a coach with an actual NC and multiple NC series appearances . Every coach listed has multiple CWS appearances 3 have titles one does not

You made it to page 2 of a rank the top 3 coaches thread without figuring out 3 names? Sounds like a learning disability.

Lemonis is the winningest first year head coach in SEC history, won a share of the west title in his first year and has his team in Omaha in his first year and not one single fricking mention of him

Corbin is a great recruiter, but I'm not sure he's a great coach.

who recruited his best players? What does recruiting look like for the future....

He has done exceptionally well for his 1st year, no one can argue that. But, how does the future look. I would think we would need more to go on personally!
