Had aggravating UK fans all around me today. As we were walking out somebody said something to them about 26 and football and three or four of them said they were UT football fans.

How fricking pathetic are those people?

actually we turned down phil, we didn't think he was confident enough to handle the players since it seemed like he was begging to come here.

Hopefully the resurrected James Naismith accepts.

for some reason its ok to root for another basketball school if your team kind of sucks. Which doesn't really apply to UT fans though.

But especially all those people who are either Duke or North Carolina fans. Its not like its a big deal, but its just odd.

Why would anybody want to root for UK football?

Maybe they grew up UT fans but went to school at Kentucky or vice versa.

Back in the 70s, there were a some Bama football fans and UK basketball fans... I never understood that... You pull for your school no matter the sport.

I'm admittedly at Ohio State and still a huge fan of the Vols. Just always been that way and I can't bring myself to change loyalties. I'll root for OSU if they don't play the Vols, but I can't say I'm not a Vols fan.
