It was disappointing but not surprising. As far as Arkansas, we should win, but there's not any reason to feel confident. This is Pearl's worst coaching job ever, and it's really not close. Looking at the conference this year, I don't see any reason why Tennessee shouldn't have won the SEC, and finishing 5th in the East is a huge disaster.

And as Bho said, they're probably from Tenn. Not that that makes it better, but I've never known anyone from KY to do that, and everyone thinks it's just as disgusting as I do.

Not really,but growing up I was a huge Arkansas Basketball fan.During the 70's they had some great teams before they joined the SEC.The team with Sidney Moncrief,Ron Brewer,Sr,and Marvin Delph was really special.

I have a friend who goes to ole miss with me, and who is from Mississippi, but is a Kentucky basketball fan. He is an ole miss football fan 
I made his night miserable at the ole miss-uk basketball game this year

I see this a lot out here. All the bandwagon SC fans root for SC during football season then switch and root for UCLA during basketball season

I'd agree they're probalby from Tennessee, because I don't think a bandwagon fan like that would travel for this one. That surprises me, though. When basketball is struggling, our fans are usually more likely to stop paying attention instead of switching loyalties.

Sad, but at least it's the same city. I've heard someone from Michigan say he roots for the Wolverines in football and the Spartans in basketball.

True but these two schools hate each other. No reason to root for both, it woul be like rooting for bama during FB season then rooting for Auburn during BB season

I kind of understand what you're saying, although I would think your favorite team is your favorite regardless of sport. I do understand how pointless being a fan of Vanderbilt football would be.

Oh, I agree, it's sad. I'm just saying, at least you can say, "I'm from LA." It's better than rooting for teams from different states, although not by very much.

I would be easier on him if he actually knew a damn thing he was talking about. I'll say stuff to him like "you know, UK really isn't that good this year" and he'll be like "no man, we're champions"
