The person they should sue is his girlfriend who was driving, but she's dead so I guess just sue whoever has money. I also read they are suing a car dealership who sold the car to Carter. This is just ambulance chasing bullshite. Unfortunately, as stupid as jury pools are, they'll still get awarded something.

As an LSU fan you know a lot about embarrassment. That childrens hospital scandal was incredible. And the elderly lady being sexually harassed by your football player was really something too. Don’t know which was worse. And then there were all the sexual assault and rape charges. Not to mention all the trouble with the NCAA.
Georgia had a tragic accident caused by poor decisions and consumption of alcohol by young people. A young woman paid for her horrible judgment and terrible mistake with her life. There is no comparison.

Devins mom and stepfather aren't suing.
It is the estranged father who allegedly has had little to no relationship with Devin for the past 10 years.
The attorney first tried to blackmail UGA into a settlement. That didn't work. Now they are suing everyone (UGA, Jalen, the car dealership, etc..)
This is an embarrassment for the legal system. Not UGA. Both sides will have their day in court because UGA isn't going to do handouts to the money grab (they are supporting Devins family).

This is literally the dumbest thing anyone can post here. There was yeah, a shitty scheme going on, but the two players involved had not stepped on a field for us in years. They were no longer athletes at LSU when this happened. This was in no way a scheme to pay players. Just a bunch of dickheads finding a shitty way to make $. But they were affiliated with LSU at some point so this must be happening!!!
