If the SEC Rant hadn’t turned an embezzlement case into “LSU STOLE FROM CANCER PATIENTS!!!” they’d still be hanging on to “muhhh team vote!!!”
UGA, Alabama and Aggy fans try way too hard to deflect the rampant crime that flows through their athletic program and administration.
Sure Jan.
LSU stole from cancer patients to pay players. Everyone knows it. It's well documented on the rant.

Now it is Kirbys body count?
Yup, sure is. He is the head football coach that is responsible for the type of atmosphere he is fostering. How many players have you now had arrested since the end of the season? UGA has a culture issue that has been created by Kirby. As long as he’s winning no one is going to say anything to him at UGA, even if has kids dating staffers that get killed by racing.

Why is it when a player makes a great play on the field, he's a grown arse man, but when he drives 120mph down a 35 mph zone and causes an accident where someone was killed, flees the scene of the crime (felony), and then lies about it to the police (felony), he's a "kid"??

That's libel.

The crime was DUI by the other driver.
Jalen most definitely isn't a kid.
However, I'm not shocked by the behavior of a 21 year old who drives a 750 horsepower vehicle. Speeding and poor choices behind the wheel unfortunately meet my expectations with that combination. And yes, I have teenage drivers.

I love it when someone with a 6th grade education from Valdosta’s vaunted public school system thinks they know how the legal system works.

It’s harder for a public figure to win a libel lawsuit than it is for a private person to win a libel lawsuit. A public figure can be a public official or any other person widely involved in public affairs, like celebrities, business leaders and politicians. If you involve yourself in a public controversy, you may be considered a public figure for that issue. To win a libel suit, a public figure must prove the publisher of the false statements acted with actual malice. Actual malice means that the publisher knew that the statements were false or acted with reckless disregard for whether they were true or false. This is much harder to prove than negligence. The Supreme Court established this higher bar for public figures to prove libel in 1964.

Notable headlines that LSU fans deflected on:
Witnesses Claim LSU QB Jordan Jefferson Kicked Man in Head During Bar Fight
New Derrius Guice rape allegations emerge in updated lawsuit about LSU sexual misconduct
74-year-old woman accuses Derrius Guice of sexual harassment
'LSU is not a safe place for women at such a young, vulnerable age,' says alleged sex abuse survivor
LSU Players Suspended, Face Felony Charges For Bar Fight
NCAA alleges violations by LSU football program
LSU is looking into whether Odell Beckham Jr. handed out novelty money to players in viral video (Hint. It wasn't novelty money)
LSU WR Malik Nabers arrested in New Orleans
LSU report sheds new light on 10 football players accused of rape, domestic violence
There's a whole lot more where these headlines came from. Maybe LSU fans should sit this one out instead of talking about "rampant crime that flows" at other schools?
And for the 50,000,000 LSU fans that want to rush in and down vote me, tell me where I am wrong. It was an LSU fan that wanted to point fingers, so if you want to blame someone, blame NFLSU.

Bingo
Reckless disregard for facts. Check.

Maybe you could ask your basketball players? They have real experience, while we can only guess.

Yep. I am a bit surprised, too. I thought he would be gone pretty quickly.

This will grind out in the courts for a couple of years and the Wilcox family will settle for a lot less and have to sign a non disclosure and the lawyers of both parties will get paid a lot of money.
