Go to the wedding, turn the volume on the game up load and keep telling everyone to be quiet so you can hear the game. They'll get the hint...

Brings to mind the wedding of my Daughter's best friend. Was on a Bama Homecoming day and church was on parade route. Groom arranged for the Bama band to stop in front of the church and play 'Yea, Alabama'. Right in the middle of the ceremony! I thought I was going to

There’s this thing called a DVR. So these questions aren’t really relevant any more.

Why would that matter. You sound like an Alabama fan

I’ll beat you guys to the punch on the alabama thing.
Brother marrying sister so you’re the brother and brother-in-law to both, gotta go. Besides the walmart fish sticks are in season.

Dude this is about championships. Weddings are 50/50 it works out and decent chance if it doesn't you get to go to another one. Mississippi State getting to a championship? those odds are like .05% and who in the Fack gets married in January. I'll go to a fall wedding but bitch about it but i'll be there. NCAA Championship or playoff tho... not happening.

"A man had 50 yard line tickets for an LSU game.

As he sat down, he noticed that the seat next to him was empty.

He asked the man on the other side of the empty seat whether anyone was sitting there.

"No," the man replied, "The seat is empty."

"This is incredible," said the first man.

"Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the LSU game, the biggest sporting event in the state and not use it?"

The second man replied, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This will be the first LSU game we haven't attended together since we got married in 1967."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else -- a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?"

The man shook his head. "No, they're all at the funeral.""

Aggy will have a few SECCG to attend over the next 9 years, so the wedding. I’m also mid 20s so flying over the globe for weddings is still enjoyable.

hen I was 25 and hot blooded, I would have said skip the wedding. As a slightly older and wiser man, I’d say “unless you’re an Alabama fan or UGA fan, you aren’t going to have to worry. And if you ARE an Alabama or UGA fan, there will be other SCGs to go to.”
What if it is the NCG and you are an A&M fan and realize you will probably neither win nor return to the game for the rest of eternity?

Go to the wedding, you can always make plans to make the semi-final game of the CFP. Right?

I would skip if not immediate family. It’s just a wedding
