You don't like your QB taking a hit like that after the whistle. It had been blown and the officials failed to protect a defenseless player. They could have cost us the season right there by not doing their job for one thing.
The officials and yes the conference were intimidated by the bitch campaign put on by LSU before the game was played. I grant you the targeting call on Devin White was a bogus call. But you do not let it affect the officiating in this game and it clearly did.

I don’t have to make anything up. Look at this board and all these Bama fans melting about Tua’s hit, Delpit, the refs, holding, LSU fans hurting their feelings, etc.
I love the gloating threads. Those are entertaining. All the whiny threads are pretty sad. The LSU whining threads are sad too, fwiw...but they got embarrassed, so it’s semi-understandable.

I haven't said ONE word about the officiating yet. But I thought it was pretty poor. So I don't understand what's wrong with Alabama fans pointing it out. Especially since LSU and refs is a running joke on this board.

Again, the refs were terrified at throwing a flag on the Tigers. The holding was so bad it was comical. They only threw a flag on them when they absolutely had no other choice. Sankey told this crew to be easy and only if it's a last resort. At that time in the game they were still gunshy of losing their jobs.

You can't hit the QB low in the pocket. Bama has been called for it at least twice this year. Should have probably been roughing the passer.
