It's called being in a state of shock. Witnessed it first hand here in NOLA in the aftermath of 1/9. Most LSU fans tried to quickly brush it off in the following days and immediately switched into Saints mode.

When that fell through the next weekend, shite got depressing real quick and people were forced to come to terms with the game.

I am a rational adult with a great job (Head fry cook) but some losses do linger. I have to add my voice, I will NEVER TRUST A LEAD OVER AUBURN regardless of how big it is.

Alabama is a great team, but I think if the two teams played in Tiger Stadium ten times, they aren't winning more than five, IMO.

No doubt. Death Valley is brutal.

And is this how you feel if we had won? And do your best to be honest.

How I felt last year but look at the bright side we came out of that game last year realizing we were probably better than LSU. LSU comes out of a game realizing they can play with anybody in the nation AND they and hopefully their qb realize how good he really is. The only thing good about the game othe r than the win for Bama is we took LSU best shot and still found a way to win. That was easily LsU most complete game ofte year and it was against the best team they will have faced all year. LSU will finish top five with two losses which is impressive in itself.

+1 Great post labamafan.

SOOOOOOOOOOO !!!
We:
- Get a first and 10 at the Bama 13 yard line, and get it called back because of a stupid PF.
ZERO POINTS
- Miss 2 FGs ZERO POINTS
- Blow a 3rd FG trying a fake ZERO POINTS
- Drop 4 passes and 2 INTs
- Blow a chance to run out the clock on a telegraphed 'Wildcat' 4th and 1. ZERO POINTS
- Blow a SECOND chance to run out the clock by not going for a first down with 2 minutes left.
ZERO POINTS.

LSU left off AT THE VERY LEAST 3 points, and maybe as many as 14 or 17.

Take a look at how A&M lost every game last year outside of the OU game.

Your nuts can only be crushed so much. If being an Aggie has taught me anything, it's to expect that if something could possibly go wrong in a football game...A&M is going to find a way to make it happen.

I actually don't feel bad about the loss at all.
Didn't expect to win. But also didn't expect to lose because we beat ourselves instead of bama beating us.

It's extrememly excruciating for me because I'm a junior and I felt like that was our last chance at a national championship before I graduate. We're going to lose stupid amounts of talent on defense after this year, and my national championship aspirations aren't near as big for next year as they were for this year

ETA: and the fact that we had so many chances to win make it so much worse. If Bama had just came out and rolled us I would have accepted that we just weren't that great this year

Depends on the circumstances afterward.

2010 Iron Bowl? Killed MSU in the bowl game and won a natty the next year. Don't even care now.

The loss to UCF in 2000? Score was 38-40. We then lost to LSU in BR for the first time in 31 years, Dubose was canned, Fran bolted, NCAA issues, hired Shula.... I will count punch a nun right now.
