Counterpoint: Tennessee is very good on one side of the ball, Bama is very good on both

Refs will be putting in their work I'm sure. Look for Bama DBs to hold every single deep ball.

Alabama has beat the hell out of every QB they have faced with that pass rush and Hendon Hooker will be no different.
Sure he's mobile but so was Jefferson at Arkansas and he's bigger. He didn't finish the game.
Texass starter went out early and his replacement was hobbling like a lame horse.
The Aggie QB was even hurt, kudos to him for having guts because he had little blocking and the refs were letting them hold or he' d be in traction.
You can run Hooker, but you can't hide from The Cheetahs, they are coming for YOU.

Yea, a bunch of guys that get together and drink beer.
Trust me when I say the REC bunch has little to no say about anything that goes on there. I can tell you who does but you probably already know. REC is just easier for you to spell.

It is pretty easy to spell, just three letters.

Do you follow football? Tenn. has a very good run defense. They are not only good on 1 side of the ball.

Who have they played that runs the ball good?

They are good at stopping the run, but they are very bad at stopping the pass, which makes them "ok I guess" on defense, but not what I would consider "good."

I said they don’t have a “very good” defense. Their run defense has been stout but they might be putrid in pass defense
•51st in yards per passing attempt allowed
•128th in passing yards allowed per game
On its face, those are objectively not good numbers. Then you factor in that that the Power-5 passers they have faced have been Anthony Richardson, Jayden Daniels, and Kedon Slovis for a half. Not exactly a polished group of throwers

Bama has now played multiple times in high pressure situations and found ways to win. Bama has both an offense and a defense, and we have played a harder schedule to this point. Jalen now has one full game under his belt, and uh... maybe we won't turn the ball over 5 times or however many times it was. Defense started finally kicking arse last week, and got pressure on QB almost every play.
That is gonna be one silent stadium by the end of the 3rd quarter, I suspect.

Which side of the ball is Bama not Top-10 in?

Yeah...Jimbo said something about Bama being cheetahs after last week's game.

On the flip side...Bama's opponents rush defense rankings so far (Tennessee is #11):
