And now UGA fans can claim that nobody thought we could win this year and use it as a rallying cry.

I appreciate it ESPN.

Honestly, I think it's going to be a hard fought year for Bama with all of the change and uncertainty. No idea how it goes. 15-0 seems as likely as 8-4 in the regular season.

I think too many people aren't actually listening to what is coming out of Bama. Changing their offense back to a more ground and pound version speaks volumes on their QB situation, their WR situation, and honestly on their pass protection situation.

They say look what UGA is doing in winning the Natties and going away from the spread uptempo passing look and putting in supposedly heavy sets, but that is NOT what UGA has been doing at their best the past two years. Sure they play in 12 and 13 personnel, but they are throwing to all the personnel on the field, and often times spreading out and putting those TEs into motion. UGA's OL was not a ground and pound version, but did their best run blocking on counters. And they go uptempo a lot. Monken finally managed to get Smart to see the light regarding offensive football that works in modern football.

I think Bama this year is going to look more like 2019 UGA, which is also why I don't think they win the SEC west, let alone the SEC or the playoff.

The only thing coming out of Tuscaloosa is that the OLine and RB rooms may be elite this year. Playing to a particular team's strength doesn't mean the QB's and WR's are terrible.

Also, I haven't heard anyone say that 'Bama is going back to the "ground and pound" aside from a few fans on the internet.

I will point out that during this little Pax Georgia run they have managed to beat Alabama....once.

Maybe but I'm glad we got that win. Hope you have a nice weekend.

You won because of injury luck. You know it I know it and everyone knows it. Williams and Metchie play, Bama wins 10 out of 10 games played

You sound dumb as phuck. Luck isn't even a thing. It's just something you tell yourself to explain losing.

You lost and that's that. It happens. Stop bitching, you have like 20 other title sitting in your trophy case

Lol. That was your reply.

I wonder what Bama fans will say when they don't with the national championship and here in August a Gump is already predicting the injury excuse again?

At least you are consistent.

They hate it, but this is a really good prediction on the season.

If Des picked us, we’re losing 3-4 games. Even if we had Tom Brady, there’s nothing we can do to overcome Des.

Ask yourself this then...why did Saban make such bad hires?

Because Pete is a mastermind on the whiteboard and with BoB, I guess it’s the Belichick connection.

How can you call bullshite and you didn’t even watch the games?

Our entire offense was Bryce improvising because BoB’s play calling and the route combinations were awful, he would get the play in super late, the play would break down and it became street ball more often than not.

Everyone always acts like Saban is some infallible man. He’s human, makes mistakes etc. not every hire is a home run and some are.

As for the QB thing, it’s Milroe. He started to separate this week. Throws a good deep ball ( had a few at the scrimmage last week). I watched practice yesterday and i can see some improvements in the short game (slants, fades, etc).

Will any of that translate into an actual game, who knows.

Because I've watched football for over 40 years.

When the QB improvises, it usually means that one or two of the other 10 players on offense fricked up.

And when the QB improvises a lot, it means that one or two of the other 10 players frick up a lot.

You know it. There is no playcall, Brice scrambles lemons into lemonade.

the play would break down

I.e. your offense had one or two guys frick up the playcall.
